A device for injecting sludge from, in particular, a sewage purification plant, into the combustion chamber of an incinerator, especially a garbage incinerator, is characterized in that it comprises at least one small diameter injector (10) which passes through the thermal protection of the combustion chamber and is supplied, at the same constant rate as all the other injectors, via a distribution chamber (12). Each injector comprises a cylindrical tube (18) with a conical tip (20) located on the combustion chamber side, of which the wide angle is located on the sludge outlet side of the injector. The device is also characterized and in that each injector is thermally adjusted so as to obtain a linear temperature gradient along the whole of the injector by forming in it, in the course of injection, a graded bulge of sludge having a surface crust in the region nearest to the combustion chamber. |
