It comprises: a first stage in which the scrap is ground up. A second stage in which the ground material is extruded, separating the petrolatum from the remainder of the components. A third stage in which the extruded mass is chilled by means of immersion in cold water, subsequently grinding the mass obtained again. A fourth stage in which the ground material is transferred to a vibrating platform covered by a suction (aspiration) bell which carries out the separation function, and the material is subsequently bagged up. The object of this invention is to recover the different elements which make up this type of cable, separated out from the scrap, without environmental damage.
