Pulsed power source providing stabilised DC outputs - has pulse width modulated transformer control with load referencing circuit and transducer regulating voltage
摘要
A pulsed power source (UO) feeds a transformer (Tr) primary (No) via an inductance (LO), capacitor (CO) and semiconductor switch (S). A transformer secondary (N1) provides an output voltage (U1) derived from a load referencing circuit in which transformer voltage and load fluctuations are monitored by regulator (R2) for appropriate pulse width modulation by controller (St). An additional secondary (N2) supplies a rectified DC output (U2) to a further load (not shown) controlled by transductor (L2) and monitored by regulator (R1) which generates a transductor signal current (15). Voltages (U1, U2) and additional output voltages as required are thus stabilised over the full range of working loads. USE/ADVANTAGE - Supply of stabilised DC voltages where load compensationm is important. Low loss circuit. Transistor response times are largely unaffected by external circuit loading.
