NEW MATERIAL:Polyfluoroalkylstyrene shown by formula I. USE:An intermediate widely usable for synthesizing industrial raw materials having excellent heat resistance and water and oil repellency, etc., drugs, etc. PREPARATION:An omega-halogenated methylstyrene shown by formula II (X is halogen) is reacted with perfluoro-2-methyl-2-pentene in the presence of an alkali metal fluoride (preferably KF) and an alkali metal iodide (preferably KI) in an aprotic polar solvent (preferably N,N-dimethylformamide) usually under normal pressure at room temperature to 60 deg.C to give a compound shown by formula I in high yield. |
