<p>PURPOSE:To permit the stable transport of paper by preventing a roller member from being deflected in the axial direction even if a paper feeding reaction force is applied onto the roller member during the transport of paper, by installing a deflection preventing means for preventing the deflection of the roller member in the axial direction onto the outer periphery of a roller body. CONSTITUTION:A transport roller 22 consists of a roller body 220 fixed onto a driving shaft 21, annular groove 221 as deflection preventing means which is formed on the outer periphery of the roller body 220, and a roller member 222 which is made of the elastic material such as rubber and engaged with the annular groove 221. Further, the roller body 220 is fixed onto the driving shaft 21 through a set screw 223. Therefore, the transport roller 22 is prevented from being deflected in the axial direction even if a paper feeding reaction force is applied.</p> |
