PURPOSE:To thin a motor and to obtain high output by winding the stator coils of three phases reversely adjoining each other, and specifying the number of salient poles, wherein the ratios of the peripheral areas to the sectional areas of the winding parts are set to 2-4, of a stator and the number of rotor magnets. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 4 is fixed radially to the housing 1 of a bearing 2, which supports a spindle 3 freely in rotation. The coil 9 wound around the salient pole 5 of the stator core 4 is made three phases, and the number of the salient poles 5 are made 3(2n+1), with n as an integer. The number of the magnetic poles of the rotor magnets 11, which are attached with the polarities inverted alternately to the inner periphery of the circumference of a cup-shaped rotor yoke 10, is made 3(2n+1)+1. Furthermore, the ratio of the peripheral area of the top enlarged part 8 of the salient pole 5 to the sectional area of a winding part 7 is set to 2-4. Those are wound so that the neighbors may be reverse with all the coils of each phase adjoining each other. Hereby, a thin and high output motor can be manufactured at a low cost. |
