With this arrival regulating equipment, the difference, which arises between actual speed value and target speed value on the transition from an unregulated phase of the travel to the regulated braking phase, can not come into effect so that the travel comfort is not impaired and the stopping accuracy remains assured. For this purpose, a factor is formed from the actual speed value and an associated nominal speed value by means of a divider (21) during the travel phase before the onset point of braking and stored during the braking phase in a storage equipment (23). Stored in a travel curve store (20) are travel-dependent target speed values (vs), which are multiplied by the factor by means of a multiplier (24) and conducted as target speed values (vs') to a speed regulating circuit during the braking phase.
