<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a heat generating composition while preventing heat generation during manufacture by putting a metallic iron and a mixture of NaCl, activated carbon, water, and a filler into a container, immediately filling the contents in an air-permeable packaging material, and enclosing the packaged material in an airtight packaging material. CONSTITUTION:Sodium chloride, activated carbon, water, and a filler are mixed at prescribed ratios. The mixture and metallic iron each in a given amount are put into a container, and immediately the contents are filled into a chamber of an air-permeable packaging material, which is then enclosed in an airtight packaging material to give a heat generating composition. By this technique, heat generation can be prevented during manufacture, thus preventing a product from being contaminated with the composition solidified as a result of heat generation. In addition, neither a device for nitrogen gas replacement and hermetic sealing nor the use of any complicated packaging material is necessary.</p> |
