ACTIVE MATRIX DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a display device provided with an accumulative capacity bus line whose delay of a signal is small by providing a branch terminal on the end of a branch wiring which is branched from a common electrode trunk wiring other than a common electrode terminal on both ends of the common electrode trunk wiring. CONSTITUTION:The common electrode trunk wiring 6 is provided on a side opposite to a side where a gate signal terminal 4 is installed and connected to all the accumulative capacity bus lines 8. The common electrode terminals 5a and 5b are provided on both ends of the trunk wiring 6. The branch wiring 17 is branched from the center part of the trunk wiring 6 and the branch terminal 16 is provided on the end of the branch wiring 17. Since the common electrode terminals 5a and 5b and the branch terminal 16 function as a signal input part, the trunk wiring 6 is divided into two at a part where the branch wiring 17 is connected and the resistance and the capacity of such parts get a half respectively in comparison with the common electrode trunk wiring which is not provided with the branch wiring 17. Thus, a time constant in the common electrode trunk wiring 6 gets a quarter in comparison with the common electrode trunk wiring which is not provided with the branch wiring and the delay of the signal is drastically reduced.
