PURPOSE:To improve tone quality by using a whole surface driving type loudspeaker, and applying effective electromagnetic damping by negative resistance driving extending over the whole band. CONSTITUTION:A whole surface driving type loudspeaker 1 provided with a diaphragm 13 in which a linear conductor 12 is formed on the surface and plural pieces of square pole-like magnets 15 is driven by a negative resistance amplifier 2 having a uniform negative resistance extending over the whole band so as to reduce or negate other resistance component than equivalent motional impedance of the whole surface driving type loudspeaker 1. In such a way, by using the whole surface driving loudspeaker, non-motional impedance can be made flat extending over the whole band, and also, by driving the loudspeaker through a negative resistance being uniform in the whole band, electromagnetic damping can be applied extending over the whole band on the whole diaphragm, and the tone quality becomes clearer. |
