PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration and deceleration and to prevent deterioration of riding comfortability by providing speed change prohibiting means for prohibiting a speed change operation according to a gear speed change map by controlling a gear position select means when it is not a speed change operation in the same direction and within a fixed time according to the output of a switching speed judging means. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission gear 30 includes a first gear speed change map 30a, a second gear speed change map 30b, a gear position select means 30c, and a switching speed judging means 31 for judging whether a speed change operation according to the first and second gear speed change maps 30a, 39b is in the same direction as the preceding speed change operation and within a fixed time or not. The above means further includes a speed change prohibiting means 32 for prohibiting a speed change operation according to the first and second gear speed change maps 30a, 30b by controlling the gear position select means 30c when it is judged that the speed change operation is not in the same direction as the preceding speed change operation but within a fixed time according to the output of the switching speed judging means 31. The switching speed judging means 31 includes a shift-up timer 31a operating when up-shift speed change operation is performed and a shift-down timer 31b operating when down-shift speed change operation is performed. |
