Checks of the distance from a moving vehicle to the vehicle in front by radar are often falsified by objects near the traffic lines which also reflect the radiation and do not identify that vehicle. It is therefore suggested to replace the reflector by a system of reflecting and non-reflecting strips of bodywork lacquer, arranged in a sequence which is significant for the vehicle concerned. This lacquer can be based on rhodopsin. ADVANTAGE - This type of reflector permits a definite identification of the vehicle.
