PURPOSE:To transform the secret information without revealing it to an auxiliary device serving as the contract side of calculation and with back-up of the calculating force of the contract side by changing the input information, applying the identity transformation to the input information based on the secret information, and deciding both information valid when they are coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION:A main device 1A is provided to process the secret information together with at least one of auxiliary devices 2-1 - 2-3 which back up the arithmetic of the device 1A. Then a 1st transformation means is added to transform the input information together with a 2nd transformation means which applies the identity transformation to the input information based on the secret information, and a comparison means (proving means 1B) which compares the result of the identity transformation with the input information and decides them valid when they are coincident with each other. Thus the secret information can be processes with high efficiency without revealing it to the device 1A and with back-up of the calculating force of devices 2-1 - 2-3. At the same time, the prove is also possible with high efficiency. |
