The load lifter component has a connector for the chain or rope end, plus a load connector fitted with a load carrier which can move relative the carrier against a spring forming part of a force indicator. The carrier should comprises a yoke (10) with two guide holes (8,9) for the parallel legs (5,6) of a shackle (4) joined to the first, rope connector (1). The leg ends have endstops (15,16) for the springs (13,14) enclosing then two legs. The load connector is in hook form (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - Mechanical handling. Load and rope connectors guided throughout lift movement using forged shackle and yoke piece offering low-cost.
