PURPOSE:To present the speaker diaphragm to be light in weight with high Young's modulus and high propagation speed by forming the diaphragm from a carbonate thin plate obtained by executing thermal processing to polycarbodiimide resin at a specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:As one feature, such a speaker diaphragm is formed from the carbonate thin plate and as the feature of manufacture, the carbonate thin plate is molded in a desired shape and afterwards, thermal processing is executed. Otherwise, the thermal processing is executed to the carbonate thin plate and afterwards, the plate is molded in the desired shape. Thus, as the carbonate thin plate, an object to be obtained by executing thermal processing to the polycarbodiimide resin, for example, can be used and for the thermal processing of the polycarbodiimide resin, it is executed at 600-3000 deg.C or preferably at 700-2000 deg.C. As the desired shape, not only a normal cone type but also a ribbon shape, for example, is included as well. |
