INPUT DEVICE FOR VARIABLE LINE WIDTH LINE DRAWING

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency for production of graphics by providing a line plotting means which plots lines based on the line width value calculated by a line width calculation means and the coordinate values detected by a coordinate detecting means. CONSTITUTION:In an input device for variable line width line drawing, a line width calculation means 2 detects the line width increase/decrease input time received from a coordinate input device 1 to decide the increase/decrease value of the line width value from the input time for calculation of the line width value. At the same time, a coordinate detection means 2 detects the coordinate values out of the coordinate input of the device 1. Then a line plotting means 3 plots lines with variable width based on the line width value calculated by the line width calculation means 2 and the coordinate values detected by the coordinate detection means 2. Thus the line width can be changed while a line is plotted and the input operations so far carried out with handwriting are possible for a graphic production part and the straight lines and curves of the optional width. Then the working efficiency is improved for production of graphics.
