<p>PURPOSE:To improve the workability in liquid mixing, charging, and defoaming stages and to shorten the time required for these stages by using the solution where specific wt.% ethylene glycol and specific wt.% glycerol are mixed as a filler to be packed between a cathode-ray tube and a projection lens. CONSTITUTION:A coupling enclosure 22 which has both end parts coupled to a cathode-ray tube 20 and a projection lens system 21 in a hermetically sealed structure is packed with liquid 28 as the filler of the solution where 95 to 81wt.% ethylene glycol and 5 to 19wt.% glycerol are mixed. Thus, the reliability of coloring accompanied with thermal degradation of liquid is improved in comparison with a conventionally known solution where 80 to 60wt.% ethylene grycol and 20 to 40wt.% glycerol are mixed. Since the viscosity of the solution is lower than that of the conventional solution, liquid mixing, charging, and defoaming works are facilitated and the time required for each work is shortened.</p> |
