PURPOSE: To provide the subject method, which couples a clutch element onto support planes for the shaft-side and driver-side joint members by means of an actuating tool, and moves the element inwardly toward the joint members, while rotating it, to couple it onto the clutch. CONSTITUTION: This method introduces a shaft-side joint member 10 into a clutch element 3 in the arrow A direction. The element 3 having a driver-side joint member 20 is coupled onto the support planes 14' and 14" for the joint member 10 and support planes 24' and 24" for the joint member 20 by means of an actuating tool 5. It can be moved, while rotating, towards the joint members 10 and 20 in the arrow B direction to be coupled onto the clutch. When it is to be uncoupled from the clutch, it is moved in such a way to be released from the support planes 14', 14", 24' and 24". |
