<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the work for loading successively many cassettes to a stocker by dropping down the cassette into a tray by sliding of a slide table, and loading successively the cassette dropped down into the tray to the stocker by a moving machine. CONSTITUTION:The subject auto changer is constituted so that a cassette 2 inserted from an insertion port of a cassette-in port 14 and placed on a slide table is dropped down temporarily into a tray of its lower part, and thereafter, loaded successively to a stocker 4 by a transfer machine 3. Accordingly, by utilizing the time until the transfer machine 3 comes to receive the cassette 2 dropped down into the tray, the next cassette 2 is inserted onto the slide table from the cassette insertion port, and a work for inputting a code number of its inserted cassette 2 to an operation panel 16 can be executed. In such a way, a useless waiting time is eliminated, and the work for loading successively many cassettes to the stocker 4 can be executed efficiently and in a short time.</p> |
