PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary consumption of an ozonolyzer by providing a control means to which the number of sheets of recording paper set to a recording number setting means is inputted and which operates an ozonolyzer replenishing means to replenish the ozonolyzer for a time corresponding to this number at the time of forming an image. CONSTITUTION:A means (shutter solenoid) 19 which replenishes a volatile ozonolyzer 10 to exhaust parts 2 and 3, a recording number setting means (recording number set key) 21, and a control means 22 are provided, and the number of sheets of recording paper set to the recording number setting means 21 is inputted to the control means 22 and this means 22 operates the replenishing means 19 of the ozonolyzer 10 to replenish the ozonolyzer 10 for a time corresponding to this number at the time of forming an image. In this case, the replenishing means 19 of the volatile ozonolyzer 10 which is not operated by the control means 22 at the time of not forming an image is operated at the time of forming an image to replenish the ozonolyzer 10 to ozone filters 5 and 5' for the time corresponding to the number of sheets of recording set to the setting means 21, and the ozonolyzer reacts with ozone during replenishment by ozone filters 5 and 5' to decompose and remove ozone. Thus, unnecessary consumption of the ozonolyzer is prevented. |
