PURPOSE:To facilitate the program transplanting work by unifying differences of interface functions (a) intended for AP (application program) that are different from one computer to another as interface functions (b) intended for AP, and adding interface functions (b) intended for AP, which is not formed in a fundamental OS (operating system), to an extended OS. CONSTITUTION:When an AP 1 requests an interface function (b) to AP, an extended OR 3 discriminates contents of the requested function to properly use a fundamental OS control means 5 or a hardware control means 4. When the requested interface function (b) to AP can be realized by interface functions (a) to AP, the fundamental OS control means 5 issues the request to a fundamental OS 6 and properly combines and uses one or plural functions out of interface functions (a) to AP. If the interface function (b) to AP requested by the AP 1 cannot be realized by interface functions (a) to AP, the extended OS 3 directly controls hardware 7 through the hardware control means 4. Thus, the required interface function (b) to AP is realized to facilitate the program transplanting work.
