PURPOSE: To secure constant deformation characteristics by setting pressurizing or buckling force in the axial direction larger than adhesive strength in the longitudinal direction between a tube end and a sleeve, in a long shaft internally connecting mechanism of an automobile driving and interlocking system, having a connecting part to be fitted in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION: A tube end 7 of a fiber composite material tube is slid on a connecting sleeve 1, the tube end is on two connecting ranges 4, 5 or on the central part of the sleeve 1, and the sleeve is provided with an outer tooth 2 between both ranges. A connecting element 8 made of hardening resin, particularly, fiber reinforced resin is tightly fitted in a tooth profile 2, close connected to the inner cylindrical surface of the tube end 7, and so separated that frictional interlocking property may be exhibited by a separating agent layer 9. The sleeve 1 is provided with an exhaust hole part 6. In a state where the connecting part is damaged, the tube end 7 is extended by a swelled conical part 3 and disengaged from the tooth profile 2 between the flanges 4, 5. However, the closed tube state is not lost. Therefore, the protective action in collision of an automobile is secured. |
