<p>PURPOSE:To improve start accelerating property while suppressing abrasion of a clutch by controlling the clutch meet time at the time of starting a vehicle in such a manner as to be longer as the acceleration demand at that time is larger. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 7 inputs signals from a change selector 4, an accelerator stroke sensor 51, an engine rotating speed sensor 22, a clutch disk rotating speed sensor 67 for detecting the rotating speed of the input shaft of an automatic transmission 1, and a vehicle speed sensor 31, and controls the intermittent state of a clutch 6 between an engine 2 and the automatic transmission 1 according to the driving state. When the acceleration demand at the time of starting a vehicle which is detected by a starting acceleration demand detecting means 71 is large, a control means 72 controls the meet time of the clutch 6 at the time of starting in such a manner as to be longer as the acceleration demand is larger, during which the rotation of the engine 2 is sufficiently raised. Hence, an improvement in starting accelerating property or sudden start can be conducted while suppressing the abrasion of the clutch.</p> |
