PURPOSE:To properly adjust a real exposure quantity as to each designated image density by setting a high exposure quantity in an area in which a photosensitive body sensitivity is low and an image density is dense and setting a low exposure quantity in the area in which the photosensitive body sensitivity is high and the image density is thin. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 31 stores a lamp voltage corresponding to a reference copy density (EXP 4) as to each of photosensitive body sensitivities, namely, high, middle and low, and it stores the change rate of the lamp voltage to the change of the copy density, namely, the inclination of the lamp voltage to the copy density. The change rate of the exposure quantity to the change of the said image density in the area, in which the photosensitive body sensitivity is high and the image density is thin, is made lower than the change rate in the other areas, the set exposure quantity in the area is lowered, simultaneously, the change rate of the exposure quantity to the change of the image density in the area, in which the photosensitive body sensitivity is low and the image density is dense, is made lower than the change rate in the other areas, and the set exposure quantity in the area is raised. Thus, the proper image according to each designated image density can be obtained. |
