PURPOSE:To prepare easily a hollow molded item a uniform thickness of which is ensured by projecting a position controlling member from a die face of a divided mold, feeding a parison along a position of a parison molding groove, fitting it in the molding groove, closing the mold, releasing the position control and blowing a compressed gas in the parison to perform blow molding. CONSTITUTION:When a mold A is in an open state and a bottom force 12 is faced upward, a slide pin 13 is made in a projected condition projected from a die face by means of a compression spring 14. A molten parison P is extruded from a head B of a blow molding machine for a hollow manufacturing apparatus and this parison P is fed along a molding groove 12a of the bottom force 12. In this case, at a curved part 10a, the parison P is positioned between the outside wall face of the molding groove and the projected slide pin 13. The molten parison P is fed to the whole molding groove 12a of the bottom force 12 and is stored and a top force 11 and the bottom force 12 are closed. After closing the mold, a compressed gas is blown into the parison P to expand roughly uniformly all the parts of the parison P and to perform blow molding of a hollow molded item having a curved part with a uniform thickness. |
