DEVICE FOR LIQUIDS SEPARATION FROM GAS OR VAPOUR

The solution concerns the device for liquid separation from gas or steam, which reaches higher sedimentation efficiency of the liquid separator by using gas or steam spaces with bottoms. The device consists of a bevelled baffle plate (7), which connects with the extended baffle plate (15) towards the bottom (3) of the pressure vessel (1) in the plane of the bevelled baffle plate (7) and a transverse partition (11) is created between the bevelled baffle plate (7) and extended baffle plate (15) so that a channel, which is open both at the bottom (3) of the pressure vessel (1) and in the plane of the transverse partition (11) arises in the extension of the bevelled baffle plate (7) in the direction from the transverse partition (11) towards the bottom (3) of the pressure vessel (1). The solution can be used in chemical industry with machines for steam production by the use of waste heat from process gases, in classical power plant engineering in boiler drums and in nuclear power in horizontal separation vessels of water and steam.<IMAGE>
