PURPOSE:To eliminate cold brewing of coffee even when a small quantity of coffee is extracted by applying the constitution wherein a drive device so sets a flow passage as to first open a tank side outgoing passage, and then selects the flow passage so as to open an extraction chamber side outgoing passage when water in a tank rises to the predetermined temperature. CONSTITUTION:An activated carbon storage container 18 is mounted in the vicinity of the upper end opening of a water storage tank 11. The water is heated with a water heating part 20 in the tank 11, and coffee is brewed through an extraction chamber. Also, one end of a riser 21 is made continuous to the bottom part of the tank 11 via a check valve 15, and the other end thereof is made open to a flow passage selector chamber 22. Furthermore, the flow passage of the flow passage selector chamber 22 is selected from a tank side outgoing passage 23 to an extraction chamber side outgoing passage 24 or vice versa with a drive device 25. In addition, the drive device 25 sets the aforesaid flow passage so as to first open the tank side outgoing passage 23, and then the extraction chamber side outgoing passage 24 when water in the tank 11 rises the predetermined temperature. As a result, cold coffee is not brewed even in brewing a small amount of coffee. |
