<p>PURPOSE:To enable massive and efficient multiplication of plant bodies and seedlings by culturing solid pieces which are prepared by dividing stocks from tissue or callus culture of a plant in Asparagus. CONSTITUTION:The tissues or cali of a plant in Asparagus are cultured in a medium containing 0.1muM to 100mM of inorganic components and carbon source, as essential components, 0.01 to 150mg/l of a plant hormone such as kinetin, 0 to 1,000mg/l of vitamins such as biotin and amino acids such as glycine to form crowns and develop roots whereby stocks of Asparagus plant are prepared. The stocks are divided to obtain body pieces having the aerial part and the root, respectively. These body pieces are cultured to give stocks of Asparagus plant. Further, when needed, similar Asparagus plant is subjected to repeated circulation of tissue culture formation of stocks division and proliferation or stocks, to multiplicate the Asparagus plant and the bodies are conditioned to give the seedlings.</p> |
