摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately recognize the current position of a vehicle by regarding a node coordinate position as a current position at the time of detecting the node coordinate position being within a specific distance from the current position. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 7 detects the attribute of a road segment where the current position of the vehicle is present from road data, retrieving data as a link with the current position, and checking an attribute belonging to an intersection following a next intersection to judge whether or not there is a link differing in attribute. Consequently, when there is the link differing in attribute, the CPU 7 considers that the intersection belongs to a tollgate and sets a node coordinate position. Then a command input for current position correction is expected and the current position is led in to the coordinate position when the presence of the node coordinate within the specific distance from the current position by the current position recognition at the time of input is detected in response to the command input.
