发明名称 METHOD FOR REFORMING SURFACE OF MICROCAPSULE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reform the surface of microcapsule into lipophilic which contains a hydrophobic org. compd. and is covered with a film such as urea-formaldehyde copolymer by allowing the capsule to contact with a specified compd. and an org. solvent which is incompatible with water. CONSTITUTION:The microcapsule containing a hydrophobic org. compd. is covered with a coating film such as urea-formaldehyde copolymer and melamine- formaldehyde copolymer. This capsule is made to contact with a compd. expressed by formula I (wherein R is an alkyl group with 8-22 carbons, x and y are integers satisfying that both x and y>=0 and x+y<=60 but inhibited that both x and y are zero), and an org. solvent such as benzene which is incompatible with water. Examples of formula I are oxyethylene dodecylamine and polyoxyethylene dodecylamine. By this method, surface of the microcapsule is reformed from hydrophilic to lipophilic, so that the reformed capsules can be used for ink, coating material, etc.</p>
