<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a fuel supply nozzle from being clogged and to enhance the burning ability of a burner by burning exhaust gas after full growth of frame of ignition gas and then burning particulate by said burning gas. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas which contains oxygen flows from apertures 10b formed on a burning cylinder 10 into a combustion chamber 11 to promote burning of ignition gas, on account of which the temperature of the exhaust gas is increased to a great extent inside the combustion chamber 11. Inflammable mixture which is ejected from a nozzle 12 is ignited by a reflux evaporation cylinder type burner 9, and the resultant ignited gas is expedited to be burned by the oxygen in hot exhaust gas. Exhaust gas may be surely burnt even if the concentration of oxygen remaining in the exhaust gas is relatively low. The gas thus ignited and burnt burns the particulate caught by a downstream trap means to purify the exhaust gas which is discharged from the end of an exhaust pipe 2.</p> |
