PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photosensitive material superior in coupling performance and contg. a compd. good in storage stability, by adding at least one of compds. represented by a specified formula. CONSTITUTION:In formula I , R1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or a heterocyclic residue; R2, R3 are each H, alkyl, or aryl; PUG is a photographically useful group; and Z is an atomic group necessary to form a benzene ring; and a group represented by formula II is substd. at the o-position with respect to a group -O-. The photographic useful group PUG may be whatever is made usable by an imagewise pattern in the silver halide photosensitive material, and the most preferable type is a development inhibitor. |
