The door (3,3') can be hinged about two alternate pivot axes (5,6) as required, so that it rotates about one vertical edge or its top or bottom horizontal edge, in dependence on the positioning of the handle. Pref. 2 of the pivot pins for the door (3,3') are displaced in dependence on the positioning of the handle, the remaining pivot pin pivoted through 90 degrees between 2 alternate working positions. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for electric oven, fridge, microwave oven. Simple selection of required pivot axis for door.
