The ventilation shaft allows fresh air to be directed into the oven space with simultaneous discharge of the heated air. The ventilation shaft (5) contains adjustable vanes (6) and adjustable deflection plates allowing the discharged warm air to be directed to the left or right and/or in a vertical direction. Pref. the vanes (6) and the deflection plates are each adjusted via manual setting controls (7) allowing independent adjustment. The ventilation shaft (5) pref. lies adjacent the oven operating controls and/or adjacent the oven door handle. ADVANTAGE - Allows directional control of discharged air.
