PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductive conductor hard to cause quenching while having little AC loss and excellent mechanical strength and capable of big capacity transmission by forming an oxide superconductor or its precursor in a sheet shape while mutually laminating this and a metal sheet to extend and process this laminate. CONSTITUTION:A metal sheet 1 and an oxide superconductor sheet 2 are mutually laminated and filled in a metal container 3, while aforesaid metal container 3 is vacuum-sealed and HIP treated as required to be extending-processed into an oxide superconductive conductor 4 in the desired shape. At the time of vacuum sealing, a volatile content such as a binder has to be removed in advance. Later, prescribed heat treatment is performed to complete the oxide superconductor, and this oxide superconductive conductor becomes a conductor in the shape wherein the metal sheet 1 is distributed inside an oxide superconductor layer, while the outermost periphery is surrounded by a metal layer. |
