PURPOSE: To facilitate the handling by constituting a support device for suspending and supporting a flexible air brake hose assembly to the coupler of a railway vehicle from an extensible cord and wire clip connectors having a specified form to be mounted on both ends thereof. CONSTITUTION: An air hose assembly for railway vehicle has a flexible air brake hose 17 and metal brackets 16 to be mounted on the free ends thereof, and this assembly is connected to an elbow 12. When this air hose assembly is suspended and supported to a coupler head 21, a hose support body 19 having the form of a long extensible cord or rubber bungee 25 and having a pair of spring wire clip connectors 26, 27 is used. Each of the wire clip connectors 26, 27 is formed of a reversely bent hook part 37, a vertical shank part 38, a leg part 39 bent at about a right angle from the shank part 38, a leg part 41 connected to the leg part 39 through a curved part 40, and an open loop part 42 in the end part of the leg part 41. |
