Air delivery slots aerating water from inflatable body - expand during use to increase self-cleaning action
摘要
Air for delivery into a body of water, sewage etc. as a stream of fine bubbles from the slots in an elastomeric wall is fed into the distributor from a pipe affixed by a clip or other connector to a pipe integral with the slotted wall element. This inflatable element has a thicker or harder rubber structure in its lower wall, acting as support. The upper wall contains the slots which under the internal air pressure open out as the balloon swells. The balloon holds a solid reinforcement ring or a perforated disc with dia. matching that of the uninflated balloon. In one alternative, the balloon is formed as symmetrically bulging opposite slotted faces of two perpendicular walls affixed to a vertical air feed pipe. ADVANTAGE - Increased mobility of slot walls increases self-cleaning action during use.
