PURPOSE:To allow wear, which is caused by sands and others contained in fluid flow, of inner surfaces of a suction pipe, a discharge pipe, and a retarding chamber to be reduced by arranging a retarding chamber between the suction pipe and the discharge pipe associated with inner pipes which are arranged into the suction and discharge piped where the fluid flow is high. CONSTITUTION:The flow rate of a fluid containing sands and gravels which are sucked in from a suction pipe 1 is decreased in a retarding chamber 3, and is guided by an inner pipe 8 which extends into the inside of the retarding chamber 3 where a centrifugal force that is caused by curved fluid flow, becomes smaller allowing the fluid to flow into a discharge pipe 2 together with high pressure water flow. In this case, the inner pipe 8 is intended to be inserted detachably as required into only both the suction pipe 1 and the discharge pipe 2, and as the inner pipe 8 on the discharge pipe 2 side is projected into the retarding chamber 3, the inner pipe 8 enables wear of inner surfaces of the suction pipe 1 and discharge pipe 2 to be reduced, and even more the decrease in a flow rate allows wear of the inner surface of the retarding chamber 3 to be reduced. |
