PURPOSE:To prevent fuming of volatile liquid chloride and environmental pollution by spreading a polystyrene resin on the liquid metallic chloride exposed into the atmosphere and covering the same with the film formed by this. CONSTITUTION:When metallic chloride of volatile liquid such as TiCl4, SiCl4 or the like exposes to the atmosphere, a granular expanded polystyrene resin is spread on the surface of this metallic chloride. Then, both of them react and form a film, thereby covering the surface of the metallic chloride. The evaporation of the chloride to the atmosphere and the reaction with the water in the atmosphere are suppressed and environmental polloution is prevented. |
