PURPOSE:To obtain a large storage battery electrode plate with a relatively small facility by forming a sheet of lattice body in the direction of the width of a long sheet. CONSTITUTION:While sending a long sheet 1 of lattice material, expansion processing is applied leaving both side margines 3 and 4 and a central plain part so as to form expansion mesh parts 6, and with one side between both side margines 3 and 4 as rear 7 side and with the other side as foot 8 side, several shapes are punched out. And with the expansion mesh parts 6 and the central plain part 5 of the long sheet 1 as electrode plate faces 12, kneaded active material 9 is applied. Next, the long sheet 1 is sent to a cutting process, and is cut in the shape of a storage battery electrode 11, and after this it is sent to the drying process at the next process. Hereby, a large storage battery electrode 11 can be obtained with a relatively small facility. |
