PURPOSE:To correct a program with the replacement of a partial storage means by storing the program of a corrected part in a correcting PROM and substituting a PROM storing an instruction to be jumped to the address of the correcting PROM for a PROM storing an uncorrected program. CONSTITUTION:A correct program A' is stored in the (n+1)th PROM 11-(n+1) and a jump instruction (jump A') is stored in the 2nd PROM 11-2 storing an original program A. An instruction to be jumped to the address of the program A' is padded in the leading address part of the program A stored in the 2nd PROM 11-2. Then the 2nd PROM 11-2 linking the uncorrected program A and the (n+1)th PROM 11-(n+1) linking the corrected program A' are formed. The 2nd PROM 11-2 is replaced by the PROM storing the uncorrected program A. Thus, the program can be corrected by the partial replacement of the PROM 11.
