PURPOSE:The feed additive that is composed of a culture mixture containing spores of Bacillus sphaericus, thus being added to feed and given to domestic animals to prevent pollution caused by bad smell of excretion and files growing in the excretion. CONSTITUTION:Bacillus sphaericus T-1 strain (FERM P-7820) is inoculated to a usual agaragar culture medium and cultured by the slunt culture and inoculated in a nutrient broth, then cultured at about 35 deg.C for about 48hr. The resultant culture mixture is transferred in the above-cited broth to effect cultivation whereby the objective feed additive is obtained. |
