摘要 Gearing comprises a flat driving part and a driven part. The driven part (2) is provided with a circular guiding groove (38) eccentric to the axis of rotation. The driven part (21-25) is provided on its front face facing the driving part with an endless guiding groove (36) composed of sections centred on the axis of rotation for guiding the force-transmitting balls (11). A flange (6) secured to the housing and arranged between the driven part (21-25) and the driving part (2) is provided with a discretionary number of radial, elongated guiding slots (10) which cover the eccentric deviation of the ball-guiding groove (38) of the driving part (2) and which prevent rotation of the balls (11) about the axis of rotation of the gearing. In multiple-speed gearings, a number of driving discs (21-25) corresponding to the number of gears are traversed by a hollow shaft (26) containing ball cages for receiving balls (21a-25a) which can be disengaged from the corresponding driven part. Cam ridges (21b-24b) in said shaft guide a cam slide (27) whose axial movement secures a driving disk to the hollow shaft (26) so as to remain fixed during rotation.
