A video digitising and display adapter for use with a personal computer. Analog video data input in a plurality of formats including composite video, RGB, and Y/C video are received by the adapter and digitised. Subsequent conversion back to analog form results in a video image output for simultaneous display in the composite video, RGB, and Y/C video formats or combinations thereof. Microcomputer control of the adapter permits selection of the particular input format video signal selected from the multiformat inputs as well as the particular combination of different video output format signals made available by the adapter. <IMAGE>
