PURPOSE:To easily display print data on a screen by converting print data to display data and saving this data in an electronic computer in accordance with the division layout of a business form format. CONSTITUTION:The display position on a current picture and information indicating a part to be displayed of the business form are set in a picture information part 4a of a storage device 4 where processed data from a data processor 3 which processes print data is stored, and graphic data is divisionally stored in a form for display on one picture in a graphic data storage part 4b. Display information indicating the position of the picture from which data should be displayed is stored in a display information storage part 4c, and sent character data is stored in a character data storage part 4d as it is. A display device 6 takes out information indicating the part to be displayed of the business form from the picture information part 4a and displays data based on this information. Thus, contents of the business form are confirmed on the picture, and they are printed only when necessary, and resources are effectively used. |
