PURPOSE:To prevent a mistaken cover action by selecting a sheet feed part containing other sheets of the same size as those in a specific sheet feed part when a cover function select means is turned on. CONSTITUTION:When an operation display part designates a front cover, the designation is transmitted to a microprocessor 100 via a serial communication control unit 106, and the front cover is selectively displayed via a fold unit 106. If a cover specific sheet is contained in a sheet feed part 8b, other pages are fed from a sheet feed part 8c. When a sheet feed part 8d is erroneously selected, a cover sheet is of A4, and the sheet feed part 8d has sheets of B4 size; therefore copying is impossible, and a wrong size message is displayed. Consequently, a mistaken cover action can be prevented. |
