<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and assembly by a method wherein a band- shaped thin plate of a magnetic material is wound in a ring-shaped laminate construction to be divided in two for forming a pair of U-shaped cores, respective sections of the cores are arranged to oppose at a prescribed interval while providing one side of a pair of leg parts with a primary coil wound therearound and the other side with a secondary coil wound therearound. CONSTITUTION:An ignition coil 10 is provided with a pair of U-shaped cores 11, 12, which are composed by halving a silicon steel plate of a band-shaped thin plate being wound about in a ring-shaped laminate structure, while both leg parts thereof are wound about by a primary coil 13 and a secondary coil 14. Firstly, as to a manufacturing method of U-shaped cores 11, 12, the silicon steel plate of the band-shaped thin plate is wound about a jig for fixing prescribed times as a first process to form a core 100 having the ring-shaped structure. After a primary bobbin 15 wound about by the primary coil 13 and a secondary bobbin 16 wound about by the secondary coils 14 are fitted into both leg parts 11a, 11b of the U-shaped core 11 respectively, both leg parts 12a, 12b of the U-shaped core 12 are fitted to the hollow parts of the primary bobbin 15 and the secondary bobbin 16 respectively.</p> |
