<p>PURPOSE:To suppress heat generation and to improve insulating property by arranging a conductive substance in mesh structure around a superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage large current conductor 30 set in a metallic vessel 1 is composed of superconductor 3 and a mesh conductor 2 arranged around this, and a conductive spacer 5 is arranged between each conductor. The metallic vessel 1 is filled with insulating cooling medium 4, which cools the superconductor 3 and also insulates the metallic vessel 1 from the high voltage large current conductor 30. The superconductor 3 bears the application current capacity of the high voltage large current conductor 30, and the mesh conductor bears the voltage resistance. Since the mesh conductor is reticulated, it is light and easy to handle, and the fluidity of insulating cooling medium 4 improves, and the superconductive conditions of the superconductor is maintained stably.</p> |
