Device for immobilising the wheels of a vehicle, particularly of a non-selfpropelled vehicle of the pushchair, trolley or similar type. According to the invention, this device is characterised in that it includes a means 42-43 for rotationally immobilising at least one wheel 6 of the vehicle 1, the means consisting of a movable lever 34, an element 41 secured to the wheel for housing the movable lever when the latter is in the position for immobilising this wheel, and means 24-29 for remotely actuating the lever, to bring it into or out of the housing, respectively. Application of the device to the individual or simultaneous immobilisation of the wheels of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
