A housing (1) mounted on a cantilever bracket or arm which is fixed to a wall or ceiling encloses a driving wheel (5) secured to a protruding sleeve (6) into which an impact rod (4) is screwed. When a bumper or other part of the vehicle makes contact with the rod rotation of the wheel drives a spring-loaded shaft (9) into a duct (11) leading to the rotary disc (12), which is visible through a window (13) to the driver of the vehicle. USE - Esp. in garages, hangars or outdoor parking places, and on walls of buildings.
